You may have noticed a lack of fresh content here on the blog as of late. Well, for the last 2 weeks, I have been transitioning from one ministry to the next. It’s been an unofficial vacation of sorts as I haven’t given much time to the blog.
On Friday, June 29th, I ended my time with St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, in Somerset. I had been on staff for 5 years serving as the Youth Ministries Director.
This past Monday, July 2, was my first day as the pastor at Harvest Church. It will be a couple of weeks before I fulfill the call, but for now, I’m focusing on preparing and leading our weekend worship gatherings. We hope to move in mid August, then I will be able to step into my new role. In the meantime, we have a few more back and forth trips to make on the weekends.
Anyway, this week we get back to the routines of ministry and life. And as I mentioned in an earlier post, the blog will take on a slightly different look as I begin sharing more about life and ministry as a pastor.
